R.I.P. Milos Forman 1932-2018

The film community was saddened to learn of the death of Czechoslovakian director Milos Forman at age 86. The two-time Academy Award winner made two of the greatest movies of all time, "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest"(1975's Best Picture) and "Amadeus"(1984's Best Picture) when he took his talents to the States. Hopefully, this superhero-saturated climate hasn't kept you from discovering them. Woody Harrelson and Jim Carrey both have Forman to thank for arguably their finest acting efforts- 1996's "The People vs. Larry Flynt" and 1999's "Man on the Moon" remain criminally underrated. My only complaint is that he didn't work more. The world needs more artists and storytellers like Milos Forman.
